In 1993 I graduated from Carroll College.
In 1997 I packed my Jetta and moved to Seattle with my cat Charlie, and my dogs Brittany and Emily.
In 2001 I discovered sailing and it has been my passion ever since.
I married Dave Freeland in 2003. Dave and I split our time between our home in Seattle and our 44' Nordic sailboat "Njords' Favour".
There is no better place to sail than Puget Sound, unless maybe the tropical waters of the Caribbean. I enjoy anything involving water including scuba diving, snorkeling, and sailing. I seize any opportunity I can to dive and sail around the world.
In 2006 I started working for Costco Wholesale, and it really is a great company. I have chosen a career that is demanding and challenging, but rewarding at the same time. My job allows me to travel the country and learn new things almost every day.
I am extremely close to my two sisters, nephew, and mother who all live in Seattle close to me.
I am both fortunate and blessed.
